Postpartum Services
Postpartum care
Feeding changes. The support doesn't have to.
One relationship, every phase of your journey.
From the fourth trimester through whatever comes next.
I've been where you are.
Why Families Choose Postpartum Care
Get hands-on help while the issue is happening, not a plan pieced together at 2am
Every visit adjusts your feeding plan as your baby changes — not a one-size handout you outgrow in a week
A relationship that carries you through, not a single visit and goodbye
Small concerns get caught early, before they turn into bigger ones
Message between visits, so a hard day doesn't have to wait for the next appointment
Here's what to expect
How Postpartum Visits Work
- In-home or video, whichever fits your household
- About 60 minutes together, no clock-watching
- A hands-on feeding assessment, not just a conversation
- Real answers to whatever's on your mind that day
- A written care plan you keep after every visit
- Messaging support between visits, based on your package
What Postpartum Visits Can Help With
- Latch and nipple pain
- Low supply or oversupply
- Slow weight gain
- Mastitis and clogged ducts
- Pumping and flange fitting
- Bottle introduction
- Tongue-tie and lip-tie recovery
- Returning to work while still breastfeeding
- Weaning, whenever you're ready
Don't see your exact situation here? If something feels off, that's reason enough to reach out.
Continuous Care
Care that stays with you, long after the first visit.
Seen in days, not weeks
Most consultants book out 2–3 weeks. You're seen within 3–4 days, with messaging and referrals while you wait.
In your own home
Feeding looks different on your own couch, in your own light. That's where we work.
The gaps your pediatrician can't fill
Well-checks are short and infrequent. This is screening and reassurance in between.
A plan that doesn't end at the door
Every visit ends with something written down you can actually return to.

FAQs
1What services do you offer?
We offer breastfeeding and chest-feeding consultations, personalized lactation plans, postpartum support, and feeding education — from your first prenatal question through weaning. No matter where you are in your journey, we're here to meet you there.
2When should I seek lactation support?
Earlier is almost always better than waiting if not. Common reasons families reach out include pain during feeding, a shallow or difficult latch, worries about milk supply — too little or too much — slow weight gain, improvement, or mastitis, as well as getting ready to introduce a bottle, start solids, or return to work. You don't need a referral or a "big enough" problem. If something doesn't feel right, that's reason enough to ask.
3Who is postpartum lactation support best for?
Postpartum lactation support is for anyone navigating feeding after birth — whether you're working through a specific challenge like pain, a tricky latch, or supply concerns, or simply wanting steady, experienced support as you settle into this new stage. It's especially valuable for first-time parents who want confidence instead of guesswork, and for anyone who's had a difficult feeding experience with a previous baby and wants this time to go differently. You don't need to be in crisis to reach out — planning ahead for support is just as valid as troubleshooting a problem.
4What does prenatal support include?
Prenatal visits are about getting you ready before your baby arrives — specific to your body and your goals, not just general theory. We'll talk through what to expect with feeding, look at any factors that could affect breastfeeding (like flat or inverted nipples, or a history of breast surgery), and build a realistic plan so the first days home feel less overwhelming. It's also your first step into continuous care — by the time your baby is here, I already know your history, and your feeding plan is ready to evolve with you.
5How soon after birth can I see you?
If we've connected prenatally through a Foundations or Fourth Trimester package, priority booking means I can typically see you within 3–4 days of birth — right around when you're settling in at home, which is exactly when feeding questions tend to surface. If we haven't met yet, reach out as soon as you're ready and I'll get you scheduled as quickly as I can.
6What makes you different?
I run my practice differently on purpose. Most lactation care is built around single visits — I built mine around relationships, with a planned course of follow-up in every package. Every family gets continuity, not goodbye.
7How can I contact you?
